About SIRD
The Sai Institute of Rural
Development (SIRD) is an initiative of Yuva Gramya Vikas Samiti (YGVS)
registered under Societies Registration Act 21, 1860 and Foreign Contribution
Regulation Act 1976 with a view to take care of interests and overall development
of rural populace in India.
The inception of Sai Institute of
Rural Development (SIRD) derives spirit from Gandhi ji’s ardent advocacy of
village reconstruction. Gandhi Ji, in one of his daily thoughts said “Just as the whole universe is contained in
the self so is India contained in the villages”. To serve the India
therefore, was according to him to serve the villages.
The
Sai Institute of Rural Development (SIRD) has been founded by a strong team of
professionals who have sufficient exposure in the public domain as well
academics, social work and private sector at the higher echelons with a
commitment to translate their knowledge and expertise in to endeavor to
accelerate the pace of rural development.
Vision:-
To
grow into a self-sustaining world class “Centre of Excellence” with global certifications,
having state-of-the-art infrastructure for offering excellent working
environment and ambience to promote and develop human skills and
entrepreneurship and appropriate attitudinal reorientation in order to cater to
the needs of education, health and livelihood opportunities for all in the
society in consonance with the imperatives of changing State level National and
Global environment.
To
attain recognition of premiere knowledge institute in the country dedicated to
the cause of Education, Health and livelihood opportunities for everyone.
Mission:-
To augment and foster the capabilities of
Purvanchal in Uttar Pradesh and the nation in general to develop its
competitiveness and entrepreneurial potential and thereby contribute
effectively to the nations socio-economic vitality.
Awards & Achievements

YGVS is provided with “Youth Excellence
Award” by Hon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh in the year 2003.
·
YGVS has bagged the “International Human
Rights Promotion Awards” twice by Ambassador of Chile in the year 2001 and
Ambassador of Argentina in the year 2008.
·
YGVS has been awarded with the President of
India in the year for 2013. This award was given to YGVS to facilitate
children involved in child labour and helped them to join the main stream of
the society.
